Enerjisa Enerji invests 23.5B Turkish liras in 2025, sets higher 2026 targets

- The company invests to modernize grids and expand capacity, raising operational earnings to 58.3 billion liras

Enerjisa Enerji invested 23.5 billion Turkish liras in 2025 to support Türkiye's energy transition, while increasing its operational earnings to 58.3 billion liras, up 8% above inflation year-on-year, the company said on Tuesday.

Investments focused on grid modernization, capacity expansion and infrastructure strengthening across 14 provinces through its distribution companies AYEDAS, Baskent EDAS and Toroslar EDAS. The company said smart grid and digitalization projects enhanced security of supply and system resilience.

In the customer solutions segment, installed solar capacity rose 38% year-on-year to 141.6 megawatt-peak (MWp), while its e-mobility brand "Esarj" increased electricity sales to 43.7 gigawatt-hours (GWh).

Chief Executive Officer Murat Pinar said energy security and infrastructure resilience are becoming increasingly critical globally.

"Our 23.5 billion lira investment realized in 2025 is a clear demonstration of our long-term commitment to strengthening our energy infrastructure and building a more efficient and more resilient system," Pinar said.

"Our focus is clear: to meet Türkiye's growing energy needs with a secure, sustainable and robust infrastructure," he said, noting that the company will propose a dividend of 5.08 liras per share, corresponding to 63% of underlying net income.

Chief Financial Officer Philipp Ulbrich said financial discipline and balance sheet resilience were prioritized throughout 2025 amid high inflation and interest rates.

"Through disciplined debt management, predictable cash generation, and clear capital allocation towards only most profitable businesses, we preserved our balance sheet flexibility," Ulbrich said.

"We are setting ambitious targets for 2026, aiming to profitably grow investments and earnings above inflation expectations while continuing to balance disciplined execution with value-accretive growth," he added.

For 2026, Enerjisa expects operational earnings of 75–80 billion liras and underlying net income of 11–13 billion liras, with planned investments of 30–35 billion liras.
