Both sections of TurkStream pipeline filled with gas

- TurkStream consists of two lines, each with a length of 930 kilometers and total capacity of 31.5 billion cubic meters

Russia's Gazprom reported that both sections of the dual TurkStream pipeline have been filled with gas late Tuesday.

The energy giant also confirmed that the construction of the Russkaya Compressor Station, which will provide the necessary pressure for the gas to traverse through the Black Sea, is already complete. The station is key infrastructure in Gazpromā€™s giant gas pipeline and compressor station network.

The TurkStream consists of two lines, each with a length of 930 kilometers with a total capacity of 31.5 billion cubic meters.

Gas flow from the first section is designated for supplies to Turkish domestic customers and the second section is expected to run further to Europe through Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary.
