Türkiye's energy import bill decreased by 3.4% to $4.81 billion in October, compared to the same month last year, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Thursday.
The country's energy import bill totaled $4.98 billion last October.
The data shows that the overall import bill for the month, including energy and other items, totaled $31.52 billion.
At $4.81 billion, energy accounted for 13.3% of the overall import figures in Türkiye in October.
Crude oil imports saw a 21.8% increase to 2.65 million tons in September, compared to 2.18 million tons in October 2024.
