Turkey's daily electricity consumption decreased by 0.04% to 770,054 megawatt-hours on Thursday, according to official figures of Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) on Friday.
Hourly power consumption peaked at 19.00 local time with 36,428 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed.
The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest daily point of 26,445 megawatt-hours at 05.00 local time.
Electricity production totaled 775,782 megawatt-hours on Thursday, marking a 0.03% increase compared to the previous day.
The majority of the output came from coal imports totaling 206,524 megawatt-hours. Natural gas and hydroelectricity followed with 193,723 megawatt-hours and 147,805 megawatt-hours, respectively.
On Thursday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 7,921 megawatt-hours, while imports reached 2,193 megawatt-hours.
