The trade volume of Turkey's spot natural gas market increased by 8.75% to 7.22 million Turkish liras on Friday, Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Saturday.
Total trade on Thursday amounted to 6.64 million liras.
On Friday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 1,630 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 4.43 million cubic meters.
Turkey received 173.83 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Friday..
US$1 equals 8.07 Turkish liras at 1106 GMT on Saturday.
