Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Dec. 25

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 130.31 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 324.45 Turkish liras at 11.00 local time, and the lowest will be 172.99 liras at 04.00 and 23.00 local time, according to official figures on Tuesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Tuesday showed an decrease of 7.99% to 130.01 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 287.50 liras and 292.79 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Tuesday was set as 333.27 liras at 17.00 local time, and the lowest was 200.01 liras at 04.00 local time.

US$1 equals 5.94 Turkish liras.
