Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, Feb. 28

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 139.83 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 322.58 Turkish liras at 19.00 and the lowest at 50.01 liras at 09.00 local time, according to official figures on Saturday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday's electricity market showed an decrease of 10.2% to 139.83 million liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 265.73 liras and 265.91 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Saturday was set as 329.32 liras at 19.00 and the lowest at 249.99 liras at 14.00 local time.

US$1 equals 7.43 Turkish liras at 1123 GMT on Saturday.
