A subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell Plc., Shell Gas B.V. is selling its entire stake in Canadian Natural Resources, one of the largest independent crude oil and natural gas producers in the world, for $3.3 billion, Shell announced Tuesday.
The company said that it entered into an underwriting agreement with Goldman Sachs & Co, RBC Capital Markets, Scotiabank and TD Securities, for the sale of 97.6 million shares in Canadian Natural Resources.
The sale is expected for completion on Wednesday.
