Norway’s Equinor reports almost $2.67 billion net loss in 1Q24

- Company’s revenue for January–March period totals $25.13 billion, compared to $29.22 billion for same quarter last year

​​​​​Norway’s Equinor posted a 46% net loss during the first quarter of 2024 of around $2.67 billion, compared to $4.96 billion in the same quarter of last year, according to its financial results statement released on Thursday.

The company recorded nearly $2.60 billion in profit during the fourth quarter of last year.

The revenue for the January–March period this year reached $25.13 billion, relative to $29.22 billion for the same quarter of 2023.

The company's fourth-quarter 2023 revenue amounted to $29.05 billion.
