The Indian Embassy in Ankara on Friday hosted a seminar gathering five Turkish firms to boost economic relations between the two countries.
Companies from construction, metals and mining, energy and engineering consultancy sectors were informed about the investment opportunities in India, according to a statement from the embassy.
Experts from India provided a detailed presentation about the sectors as well as the overall Indian economy.
Developments in the past few years were presented by Ambassador Sanjay Bhattacharyya.
“Invest India is a government-business initiative which has emerged as the highest ranked investment promotion agency globally (according to UN) and provides a full array of facilitation services for potential investors in identification, establishment and hand-holding in post-establishment stage,” said the statement.
The Embassy of India also said that they will host Investment Road Show in the next quarter of 2019 in Turkey to boost economic ties and to promote investment and technology flows between India and Turkey.
