Equinor appoints new chief financial officer

- Fearn holds master’s degree in business and finance from University of Halmstad

Norway's Equinor has appointed Ulrica Fearn as chief financial officer (CFO) and executive vice president, with effect from June 16, 2021, the company announced on Wednesday.

Fearn will succeed acting CFO Svein Skeie, who will become senior vice president and CFO of Performance Management and Risk with effect from the same date.

As CFO, Fearn will lead Equinor’s global finance organization and be responsible for treasury and tax, investor relations, performance management and risk, accounting and financial compliance, business development and corporate mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy and global business services.

She holds a master’s degree in business and finance from the University of Halmstad.
