Türkiye seeks closer energy ties with Libya and Armenia

- Türkiye and Libya are in talks to explore joint opportunities in hydrocarbon development, particularly in upstream oil and gas projects

​​​​​​Türkiye is looking to expand energy cooperation with Libya and Armenia, particularly in hydrocarbons and infrastructure development.

Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar held separate meetings in Istanbul with Libyan Oil and Gas Minister Khalifa Abdulsadek and Armenian Minister of Regional Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan to explore ways to deepen energy partnerships.

Bayraktar noted on his social media account, that Türkiye and Libya are discussing potential cooperation in​​​​​​​ hydrocarbon development, especially in upstream oil and gas projects.

"We expressed that we can utilize our country's experience in this field with concrete cooperation for the common benefit of both countries," Bayraktar added.
