China denies allegations of oil trade with N. Korea

- China says country supports decisions of United Nations

Chinese authorities denied on Wednesday the international media’s allegations of the illegal oil trade that breaches UN sanctions to North Korea

China’s foreign ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said in press meeting on Wednesday in Beijing that the country is applying all the necessities and decisions taken by United Nations Security council over North Korea.

North Korea was barred in September by the United Nations Security Council from importing natural gas and had its crude oil imports cut in response to the country's ongoing nuclear missile program.

According to Chosun Ilbo newspaper on Tuesday, U.S. reconnaissance satellites have spotted Chinese ships selling oil to North Korean vessels on the West Sea around 30 times since October.
