Türkiye's daily power consumption down 0.2% on July 25

- Electricity exports amount to 14,705 megawatt-hours and imports total 7,707 megawatt-hours

Daily electricity consumption in Türkiye decreased by 0.2% on Friday compared to the previous day, totaling 1,228,983 megawatt-hours, according to official figures of Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) on Saturday.

Hourly power consumption peaked at 58,003 megawatt-hours at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), data from TEIAS showed. The country's electricity usage dropped to the lowest level of 40,533 megawatt-hours at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).

Electricity production amounted to 1,236,032 megawatt-hours on Friday, marking a fall of about %0.2 compared to Thursday.

Electricity production from natural gas plants accounted for 28.2% of total generation, while imported coal and wind plants contributed 19.5% and 14.6%, respectively.

On Friday, the country's electricity exports totaled 14,705 megawatt-hours, while imports amounted to 7,707 megawatt-hours.
