Turkey's daily electricity consumption increased by 3.01% to 831,614 megawatt-hours on Tuesday, according to official figures of Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) on Wednesday.
Hourly power consumption peaked at local time 18.00 with 39,735 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed.
The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest daily point of 28,211 megawatt-hours at local time 04.00.
Electricity production totaled 829,316 megawatt-hours on Tuesday, marking a 3.08% increase compared to the previous day.
The majority of the output came from imported natura gas totaling 217,928 megawatt-hours. Imported coal plants and hydro plants followed with 204,751 megawatt-hours and 141,462 megawatt-hours, respectively.
On Tuesday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 8,252 megawatt-hours, while imports reached 10,550 megawatt-hours.
