Hourly power consumption peaked at 22.00 local time with 33,379 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed. The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest level of 24,847 megawatt-hours at 07.00 local time.
Total electricity production reached 723,503 megawatt-hours on Thursday with a 0.44% decrease compared to the previous day.
The majority of the output came from hydroelectricity plants at 186,044 megawatt-hours. Imported coal and run-of-river plants followed with 128,651 megawatt-hours and 109,670 megawatt-hours, respectively.
On Thursday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 1,324 megawatt-hours, while imports totaled 10,532 megawatt-hours.
