Turkey's daily power consumption rises 0.46% on Nov. 13

- Turkey's electricity exports amount to 7,452 megawatt-hours, while imports reach 9,130 megawatt-hours

Turkey's daily electricity consumption increased by 0.46% to 782,206 megawatt-hours on Wednesday, according to official figures of Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) on Thursday.

Hourly power consumption peaked at local time 19.00 with 37,798 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed.

The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest daily point of 27,486 megawatt-hours at local time 04.00.

Electricity production totaled 780,527 megawatt-hours on Wednesday, marking a 0.89% increase compared to the previous day.

The majority of the output came from natural gas totaling 195,788 megawatt-hours. Imported coal and lignite plants followed with 192,938 megawatt-hours and 144,291 megawatt-hours, respectively.

On Wednesday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 7,452 megawatt-hours, while imports reached 9,130 megawatt-hours.
