Hourly power consumption peaked at 22.00 local time with 31,291 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed. The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest level of 22,266 megawatt-hours at 08.00 local time.
Total electricity production reached 618,780 megawatt-hours on Sunday, marking an 8.83% decrease compared to the previous day.
The majority of the output came from imported coal plants at 147,083 megawatt-hours. Hydroelectricity plants and lignite plants followed 125,117 megawatt-hours and 114,745 megawatt-hours, respectively.
On Sunday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 2,950 megawatt-hours, while imports totaled 14,104 megawatt-hours.
