Turkey's daily electricity consumption decreased by 0.53% to 755,877 megawatt-hours on Friday, according to official figures of Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) on Saturday.
Hourly power consumption peaked at 19.00 local time with 36,243 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed.
The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest daily point of 26,525 megawatt-hours at 05.00 local time.
Electricity production totaled 760,319 megawatt-hours on Friday, marking a 0.53% decrease compared to the previous day.
The majority of the output came from coal imports totaling 206,167 megawatt-hours. Natural gas and lignite followed with 167,332 megawatt-hours and 126,849 megawatt-hours, respectively.
On Friday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 7,952 megawatt-hours, while imports reached 3,510 megawatt-hours.
