Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Sept. 3

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 2.10 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,378 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,899.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday's electricity market shows a decrease of 3.9% to around 2.10 billion liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,991.07 and 2,995.07 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 liras at 12 a.m. and 8 a.m. (2100 and 0500 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,811.98 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 41.16 liras at 2.14 p.m. local time (1114 GMT) on Tuesday.
