Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Sep. 6

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.27 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,599.99 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 GMT and 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,500 liras at 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows an increase of 1% around 1.27 billion liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,206.87 liras and 2,236.96 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 2,598.79 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,628.99 liras at 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT).

US$1 equals 26.79 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
