Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Oct. 20

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 433.09 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 1,078 Turkish liras between 17.00 and 20.00 local time (1400-1700 GMT), while the lowest will be 440.77 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an increase of 36.8% to 433.09 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 761.59 liras and 760.85 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday was set as 799.97 liras at 14.00 and 15.00 local time (1100 and 1200 GMT), with the lowest at 350 liras at 23.00 local time (2000 GMT).

US$1 equals 9.3 Turkish liras at 1118 GMT on Monday.
