Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Oct. 18

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows trade volume as 60.2 million Turkish liras in electricity market

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 210.49 Turkish liras at 15.00 local time, the lowest will be 114 liras at 04.00 local time, according to official figures on Tuesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Tuesday's electricity market increased by 9.7 percent to 60.2 million liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Wednesday is calculated as 176.66 liras and 182.14 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Tuesday was 206.83 liras at 11.00 local time, the lowest was 111.01 liras at 04.00 local time.

US$1 equals 3.64 Turkish liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
