The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 316.48 Turkish liras at 18.00 local time and the lowest will be 235.98 liras at 03.00 and 23.00 local times, according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 4.7% to 152.8 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 288.11 liras and 289.11 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Tuesday was set as 336.21 liras at 18.00 local time and the lowest at 242.20 liras at 03.00 local time.
US$1 equals 8.41 Turkish liras at 1125 GMT on Tuesday.
