The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,399.78 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1700-1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Tuesday.
The lowest rate is set at 170 liras at 3 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 13.48% to around 1.22 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,115.42 liras and 2,093.13 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was at 501.02 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.61 liras at 2.16 p.m. local time (1116 GMT) on Tuesday.
