Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, May 26

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 197.09 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 404.90 Turkish liras at 11.00 local time and the lowest will be 300.00 liras at 06.00 local time, according to official figures on Tuesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 3.54% to 197.09 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 363.72 liras and 365.18 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Tuesday was set as 414.99 liras at 10.00 and 11.00 local times and the lowest at 303.51 liras at 06.00 local time.

US$1 equals 8.41 Turkish liras at 1110 GMT on Tuesday.
