The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 00.00 and 01.00 local time (2100 and 2200 GMT) and between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (1400 - 1900 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,498.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows an increase of 4.42% to around 1.57 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,471.63 liras and 2,468.27 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 2,700 liras 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (1500 and 1900 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,608.48 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.23 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
