The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 550 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time and the lowest will be 325 liras at 06.00 local time, according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an increase of 12% to 205.8 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 381.91 liras and 381.17 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Tuesday was set as 578 liras at 19.00, 20.00 and 21.00 and the lowest at 300 liras at 06.00 local time.
US$1 equals 8.34 Turkish liras at 1131 GMT on Tuesday.
