Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, March 9

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 763.6 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 1,745 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 10.00 local time (0500 - 0700 GMT), and the lowest is determined as 850 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 7.6% to 763.6 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,551.75 liras and 1,582.56 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday was set as 1,745 liras between 00.00 and 03.00 local time (2100 - 0000 GMT), between 05.00 and 11.00 local time (0200 - 0800 GMT) and between 13.00 and 17.00 local time (1000 - 1400 GMT), with the lowest determined as 1,549.68 liras at 23.00 local time (2000 GMT).

US$1 equals 14.51 liras at 1142 GMT on Tuesday.
