Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, March 25

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 769.3 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,990.01 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.

The lowest rate was set at 251.01 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 25.8% to around 769.3 million liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,184.69 liras and 1,232.03 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 2,532.17 liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), while the lowest was set at 439.47 liras at 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 44.34 liras at 2.34 p.m. local time (1134 GMT) on Tuesday.
