The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 449.99 Turkish liras at 19.00 and the lowest will be 301.61 liras at 00.00 local time, according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an increase of 6.3% to 189.3 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 334.40 liras and 335.39 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Tuesday was set as 334.14 liras at 19.00 and the lowest at 241.11 liras at 03.00 and 04.00 local times.
US$1 equals 7.48 Turkish liras at 1114 GMT (2.14 p.m. local time) on Tuesday.
