Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Mar. 13

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.47 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1400 and 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,685 liras at 1 a.m. local time (2200 GMT on Tuesday), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows an increase of 23.3% to around 1.47 billion liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,346.63 liras and 2,366.76 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 2,699.89 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. local time (0500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 500.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).

US$1 equals 32.04 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
