Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, June 14

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data on Tuesday shows electricity market trade amounts to around 970.02 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,299.99 Turkish liras at 9 a.m. (0600 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,348.99 liras at 6 a.m. (0300 GMT), the data confirmed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an increase of 2.91% to around 970.02 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,869.17 liras and 1,879.11 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 2,266.29 liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,488.99 liras at 6 a.m. (0300 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 23.67 liras at 2.10 p.m. local time (1110 GMT) on Tuesday.
