Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, July 24

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.98 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 12 a.m. and between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. (2100 GMT on Monday, 1100 - 2000 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,900.01 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows a decrease of 2.4% to around 1.98 billion liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,810.76 liras and 2,818.41 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 12 a.m., 1 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. (2100-2200 GMT on Monday, 0600, 0700 GMT, 1400 - 1900 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 2,198 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).

US$1 equals 32.94 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Tuesday.
