The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. local time (2100-0000 GMT) plus between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (1300-2000 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,801.01 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday's electricity market shows an increase of 2.6% to around 2.37 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,274.95 liras and 3,269.35 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 liras between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. and at 12 a.m. local time (1300-2000 GMT and 2100 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,900.11 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT).
US$1 equals 40.41 liras at 2.18 p.m. local time (1118 GMT) on Tuesday.
