Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Jan. 27

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 171.87 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 326.69 Turkish liras at 17.00 and the lowest will be 233.60 liras at 03.00 and 04.00 local times, according to official figures on Tuesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 3.08% to 171.87 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 295.70 liras and 297.63 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Tuesday was set as 320.33 liras at 18.00 and the lowest at 236.98 liras at 03.00 and 04.00 local time.

US$1 equals 7.37 Turkish liras at 1110 GMT on Tuesday.
