Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Jan. 26

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 560.43 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 1,345 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 22.00 (0500 - 1900 GMT), while the lowest will be 700 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.

Turkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's's electricity market showed a decrease of 0.55% to 560.43 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1,164.20 liras and 1,185.88 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday was set as 1,345 liras between 08.00 and 18.00 (0500 - 1500 GMT) and at 20.00 (1700 GMT), with the lowest at 600.01 liras between 04.00 and 05.00 local time (0100 - 0200 GMT).

US$1 equals 13.53 liras at 1110 GMT on Tuesday.
