Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Jan. 13

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 188.68 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 344.96 Turkish liras at 18.00 and the lowest will be 243.99 liras at 03.00 local time, according to official figures on Tuesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an increase of 9% to 188.68 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 317.34 liras and 319.06 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Tuesday was set as 321.75 liras at 17.00 and the lowest at 240.01 liras at 04.00 local time.

US$1 equals 7.50 Turkish liras at 1110 GMT on Tuesday.
