Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Feb. 23

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 708.88 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 1,524 Turkish liras between 00.00 and 11.00 local time (2100 GMT on Tue. - 0800 GMT on Wed.), while the lowest is determined as 1,200 liras at 13.00 local time (1000 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 4.93% to 708.88 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,467.33 liras and 1,462.13 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday was set as 1,524 liras between 08.00 and 11.00 local time (0500 - 0800 GMT), and between 18.00 and 21.00 local time (1500 - 1800 GMT), with the lowest at 1,249.99 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT).

US$1 equals 13.77 liras at 1112 GMT on Tuesday.
