The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7-11 a.m. and between 5-6 p.m. local time (0400-0800 and 1400-1500 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,000 liras at 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 3.2% to around 1.83 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spotmarket are calculated at 2,874.8 liras and 2,890.72 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,642.99 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.63 liras at 2.24 p.m. local time (1124 GMT) on Tuesday.
