Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Dec. 3

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 1.92 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0400-0600 and 1300-1800 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.

The lowest rate was set at 2,400 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 1.04% to around 1.92 billion liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,167.39 liras and 3,169.06 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 liras at 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0400-0700 and 1300-1800 GMT) while the lowest was set at 2,500.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 42.43 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Tuesday.
