Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Dec. 2

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 177.73 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 499.99 Turkish liras at 17.00 local time and the lowest will be 234.98 liras at 05.00 local time, according to official figures on Tuesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an increase of 11.3% to 177.73 million liras compared to Monday.


The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 315.48 liras and 318.05 liras, respectively.



The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Tuesday was set as 332.87 Turkish liras at 17.00 local time and the lowest will be 234.99 liras at 03.00, 04.00 and 07.00 local times.

US$1 equals 7.84 Turkish liras at 1117 GMT on Tuesday.
