Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Dec. 15

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 576.63 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 1,217 Turkish liras at 17.00 local time (1400 GMT), while the lowest will be 600.01 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 3.48% to 576.63 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 979.47 liras and 991.91 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday was set as 1,217 liras at 10.00 and 11.00 local time (0700 and 0800 GMT), with the lowest at 670 liras at 23.00 local time (2000 GMT).

US$1 equals 14.25 Turkish liras at 1105 GMT on Tuesday.
