The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 350 Turkish liras at 14.00 and 16.00 local time and the lowest will be 290 liras at 04.00 and 05.00 local time, according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an increase of 9.1% to 186 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 314.63 liras and 316.48 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Tuesday was set as 338.99 liras at 16.00 local time and the lowest at 247.57 liras at 06.00 local time.
US$1 equals 7.39 Turkish liras at 1112 GMT on Tuesday.
