The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 219.93 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time, the lowest will be 125.01 liras at 12.00 local time, according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Tuesday's electricity market decreased 6.67 percent to 87.46 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Wednesday is calculated as 197.90 liras and 198.23 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Tuesday was 218.77 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time, the lowest was 169.99 liras at 23.00 local time.
US$1 equals 3.96 liras according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
