The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 221.29 Turkish liras at 19.00 local time, the lowest will be 180.11 liras at 23.00 local time, according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Tuesday's electricity market increased by 2.64 percent to 94.59 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Wednesday is calculated as 211.89 liras and 213.11 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Tuesday was 221.40 liras at 20.00 local time, the lowest was 180.99 liras at 04.00 local time.
US$1 equals 4.04 liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
