The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0500 GMT and 1300–1800 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,584.33 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday's electricity market trade volume shows an increase of 4.4% to around 1.94 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,090.07 liras and 3,111.12 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., and between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (0500–0600 GMT and 1200–1900 GMT), while the lowest was 2,250 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.95 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Monday.
