Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, Nov. 25

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 1.82 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. local time and between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0300-0600 and 1300-1700 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.

The lowest rate was set at 2,250 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 14.5% to around 1.82 billion liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,097 liras and 3,110.18 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,400 liras between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. local time and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0400-0600 and 1300-1800 GMT), while the lowest was at 1,396.85 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 42.44 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Monday.
