Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, Nov. 14

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.39 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0500, 0600 GMT and 1300 - 1500 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,999.99 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday's electricity market shows an increase of 18.3% to 1.39 billion liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,427.93 liras and 2,445.24 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 2,700 liras between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (1200 - 1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,228.70 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT).

US$1 equals 28.59 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Monday.
