The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., and between 6 p.m. and 12 a.m. local time (0500, 1500-2100 GMT), according to official figures released on Monday.
The data showed that the lowest rate is set at 1,790.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday’s electricity market shows an increase of 5.2% to around 1.82 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,903.67 liras and 2,964.94 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Monday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and between 5 p.m. and 12 a.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1200-2100 GMT), while the lowest at 1,400 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.93 liras at 2.10 p.m. local time (1110 GMT) on Monday.
